Kai Shou (Open hands)
转体开掌(见图 3 - 17 ~ 3 - 18)o Turn body and open palms (Fig.3 - 17^3 - 18).
要点:转体与开手,在转腰带动下,边转体边完成,开 掌时两掌心始终相对,利用身体内胸部的运动,催动两掌 的开,重心略左移。注意,开手是孙式太极拳的特色动 作,具有锻炼内脏、增强肺活量的显著作用。万万不可做
成流于形式的“拉手风琴”。
Key points: Turn your body and open your hands under the guidance of the waist. When opening hands, use the chest to direct the movement with the center of both palms facing each other and shift the weight left. Pay attention to the fact that opening hands is a typical movement of Sun style and it helps in exercising your internal organs and increasing your lung capacity.

3.4台手
He Shou (Close hands)
提踵合掌(见图 3 - 19)o Lift heel and close palms (Fig,3 - 19).
要点:重心略右移,从外表上看不出明显的移动,呼 气合掌,两掌之间相系相吸,含胸扩背。两肘尖始终下
坠,肩部不可耸起。
如果你做对的话,会感到胸背胀展,两掌心有开中 吸,合中开的气感。
Key points: Shift your weight slightly to the right foot and exhale when closing the palms with the feeling that the palms were linked with a string. Ease your chest and expand the back. Remember to drop your elbows and do not tense your shoulders.
