The Exercises of Tai Ji Quan Zhuang Gong



2.1.1 静桩 The motionless Zhuang Gong



桩功练习可以增强腿部静力性力量,提高对太极拳 基本技术的认识,调息练意,不可轻视。



The main purpose of doing the motionless Zhuang Gong is to improve the potential leg strength,to prepare the body for basic Tai Ji Quan techniques and to enhance your breathing and awareness. Don't neglect this exercise.

2.1.1.1 浑圆桩(见图 2 - l)o Primal position in chaos (Fig.2-1).



要点:两掌心斜相对丹田,中正安舒,深呼吸。




Key points: Make the two palms face uDan Tian and stand with your body relaxed and centered. Breathe deeply.



2.1.1.2 独立桩分脚或蹬脚(见图2-2?2-4)。



One leg stake Toes kick or heel kick (Fig. 2 — 2 ~ 2 — 4).



要点:支撑稳定,身体中正。



Key points: Support your body steadily and keep it straight and centered.
