一、侧行步。|太极拳太极剑学练指引





两脚依次平行侧向移动。



动作要点:向左出脚时先提脚跟,落脚时先落脚掌,身体重心移动要 平稳,不可上下起伏(图 3-2-18.3-249.3-2-20.3-2-21、3々?22)。



3. Step sideward.



Move the legs aside in parallel.



Key points: When stepping leftward, raise the left heel first. When putting the left foot on the ground, lower the sole first. Maintain the gravity steady when moving. Do not bend up or down (fig. 3-248, 3-2-19, 3-2-20, 3-2-21, 3-2-22).



4. 跟步。



后脚向前跟半步,脚掌先落地。

动作要点:身体重心移动要平稳, 上体不可前俯(图3-2-23.3-2-24) o



4. Step forward with the back leg in follow.



Draw the back leg forward a half step, and drop sole first before the whole foot.



Key points: Maintain the gravity steady while moving, and do not lean the

5.碾步。



以脚跟为轴,脚尖外撇或内扣;或以前脚掌为轴,脚跟外展(图3?2? 25.3-2-26) o

5. Turning the forefoot outward.



Turn the fore tiptoe outward or inward with the heel as an axis, or turn



the heel outward with the tiptoe as an axis (fig. 3-2-25, 3-2-26).



Key points: Move naturally.



步法解析:



*太极拳的上步动作为什么要脚跟先着地?



(1)符合我们日常生活中行走的生理规律;



(2)古拳谱上说,上步要“如临深渊”,这就要求迈出去的腿应非常小 心谨慎,前腿不仅可以落实亦可以轻松收回,要做到“收放自如”;



(3)从技击的角度来讲,上步时用脚跟着地,便于顺势用脚掌踩踏对 方脚面,继而用手法进攻对方。



Analyses of Footwork:



* Why should we drop the heel first when stepping forward?



(1) It is consistent with the physiological rules of walking in our daily life.



(2) According to the classic theory of Wushu, we should step forward carefully as if facing a cliff, which requires us to be able to both drop the foot steadily and draw it back freely.



(3) In fighting, we will be able to tread the foot of opponent with our sole after dropping heel, and then use our hands to attack him/her.



*上步动作之间的步法转换为什么要先移重心一再向外摆 脚一最后再上步,而不是直接上步呢?



(1)体现了老子“道者反之动”的哲学思想,即事物总是向着相反的 方向发展。所以,要想往前,必须先往后;要想往左,必须先往右。这看似 矛盾的做法,却是何等的睿智;



(2)从技击的角度来讲,先移重心可以避让对方的进攻,再向外摆脚 可以化解其劲路,最后再乘势上步进攻对方。太极拳这种既保全自己又 打击对手的中庸思想,真是聪明啊!相反,西方拳击等打斗技术展现的却 是以硬碰硬的思想,结果常常是弄得两败俱伤。



* Why do we have to move the gravity and turn foot outward before stepping forward instead of stepping forward direcdy?



(1) It proves Lao Zi's philosophy of " Taoism is to first move in the opposite direction". That is to say all things develop in the opposite direction. So if we want to step forward, we should first step backward; if we want to turn left, we should first turn right. These seemingly ambivalent ideas imply big wisdom.



(2) In fighting, we can evade offense of the opponent with shifting center of gravity first, then turn the leg outward to dispel his/her strength, and finally step forward to attack him/her. As a matter of fact, the thought behind Taiji Quan which is to attack the opponent while protecting ourselves, is very wise. In reverse, western fighting such as boxing embodies the thought of " diamond cuts diamondH, usually causes destruction on both sides.
